Founded in 2007 and located in Western Australia, Vinaceous is the brainchild of winemaker Michael Kerrigan and marketer Nick Stacy. Michael has 17+ years of winemaking experience and his contacts with farmers ensure access to superior fruit. The reds are sourced from renowned vineyards in South Australia including McLaren Vale and the Barossa Valley based on recommendations from South Australia's most talented producers and winemakers. The Verdelho is sourced from a single vineyard in Pemberton, a cool-climate West Australian region, while the Chardonnay is sourced from Margaret River. Vinaceous' labels are inspired by circus and sideshow posters from the 1930s and 1940s.

Technical notes

Fruit from dry farmed, old vines Gin Gin (or Mendoza) clone of Chardonnay was fermented in stainless steel (80%) to preserve delicacy and brightness and French oak (20%) for added texture and mouthfeel.
