The current popularity of Moscato is no surprise to us, we’ve been selling a 100% Italian Moscato since the 1970’s! On a trip to Italy, Elmo Pio sampled a wine that has been enjoyed in Italy for hundreds of years. The moment he tasted the wine’s freshness and bright flavor, he knew that this wine was something that needed to be available in the US. It was this product that inspired him to label and import a Moscato of unquestionable quality and freshness. That same wine is what we are honored to still be importing today.

Tasting notes

A touch of frizzante, or light effervescence, adds a distinctive and enjoyable balance to our Moscato. Elmo Pio Moscato is made with 100% Italian Moscato grapes from the famous Piemonte region. The wine exhibits a bright, refreshing flavor reminiscent of fresh peach and strawberry.
