Source of Grapes: The vineyards are found at the Pinheiros, Casito, Alamo da Horta and Quinta de Valbom Estates.The choice of grape varieties from the Alentejo region, long established and recommended for the Alentejo (DOC – Evora), has been fundamental in forging the character of the EA Foundation wines.

Vinification: Produced from Antao Vaz, Roupeiro and Perrum grown in their own vineyards at the Fundacao Eugenio de Almeida. After harvesting, the grapes are take to the winery where they are cooled, de-stalked, lightly crushed, pressed ready for fermentation at 16C in stainless tell vats. After fermentation the wine is filtered, blended and stabilized ready for early drinking.
